Web3rd/3.5 Edition Okay; so alot of people know about the old shock trooper leap attack tactic, but for those of you who don't know: Shock Trooper let's you make a power attack by removing from AC instead of BAB; and Jump Attack let's you do x2 (x3 with a 2 handed weapon) damage if you charge and then leap into the air before hitting your opponent. WebPer 3.5 RAW, the penalty applies to their AC until their initiative count on the next round. Any AoO they may get before then doesn't have an attack penalty because the penalty has shifted to their AC until their next turn. (no double penalty by having a reduced AC and BA) This would also apply to a pounce attack.
