Web21 Jan 2014 · One of the best revolvers Smith ever made was the 586/686 platform. I also have the Taurus 608 which has been great as well. The trigger on the Smith is better but the Taurus is not too far behind. My vote is the 686. It will be worth more down the road than the Taurus will be if that means anything to you.
